The Subaru Telescope (すばる望遠鏡, Subaru Bōenkyō) is an 8.2-meter (320 in) telescope located at the Mauna Kea Observatory in Hawaii. It is operated by of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
This feed is a webcam image, updated every 15 minutes. It's a moderate resolution image, useful for seeing the weather and activities around the telescope. The night view is not good enough to see stars - the dots you see are image artifacts.
