Hubble Space Telescope Orbit

This map shows the current location of the famous Hubble Space Telescope, orbiting at around 540 km (336 miles) above Earth. This puts it within range of human-rated spacecraft so it can be maintained by astronauts. This happened with the Space Shuttle, and missions have been suggested using commercial spacecraft. However no further repairs or maintenance missions are currently planned.
