This is the Very Large Telescope's K0 station. It's is where one of the moveable Auxiliary Telescopes (ATs) can sometimes be seen. The AT at this station is AT3. It can work with the other ATs and feed into the VLT's interferometer, effectively making one large telescope from all of them.
